Flowers of Desert and Mountains in Spring

The last blog I promised pictures of flowers.  These flowers grew in the deserts of New Mexico and western Texas including the foothills of Denver.
The variety of plants and flowers in the desert surprised me.  Stop and take a look next time you travel in the desert.

The last three pictures of wildflowers were taken in Colorado just outside of Evergreen.  Denver and the foothills enjoy many open space areas.  This park is called Elk Meadow.  In closing, here are a few pictures including one of dad laying in the field enjoying the crisp air, the clouds and the nearby pine tree.
Just 15 miles west of Denver.  No wonder we love Colorado so!
See you next time!  Oh, the glory of God's creation, small and large.
